How to create a local account when installing Windows 11
Disconnect from the internet — Unplug your Ethernet cable or disconnect from Wi-Fi when you reach the "Let's connect you to a network" screen.
Press Shift + F10 (or Fn + Shift + F10 on some laptops) to open the Command Prompt.
Type the following command and hit Enter:
Your PC will automatically reboot and restart the setup process.
Go through the setup steps again. You will now see an "I don't have internet" option — click it and proceed with a local account.
This method works for Windows 11 and Windows 10 installations. After setup, you can always add a Microsoft account later from Settings > Accounts.
